About BVS

The company

Binary Virtual Solutions, LLC (BVS) is a Texas LLC in Salado, TX, formed in 2024. We are a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Our SBA VetCert application is submitted and pending.

We build and secure OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines and the automation around them, and we move applications onto them. We do this work as a subcontractor to primes on federal and defense programs. How that works is on Teaming with BVS.

Key personnel

Brian Gomes, Owner and Principal Engineer

Brian served in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2021 and retired as a Major. He is a platform engineer. He builds enterprise OpenShift platforms, secure pipelines and developer tooling.

• Internal developer platform. Sole architect and developer of an enterprise OpenShift internal developer platform that serves 5 application teams. It cut app onboarding and deployment from 4 to 5 days to hours.
• Application migrations. More than 10 applications moved from on-prem servers to OpenShift test, and 7 promoted to production.
• Certifications. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and CompTIA Security+, Network+ and A+.
